method

Directions

Lay out 6-10 verb cards face down on the floor / table.

Children take turns to throw a beanbag (I prefer a light-up koosh ball) onto one of the cards.

The child then says what is on the card - either by simply saying the verb or giving a full instruction e.g. “everybody drink”

The adult and the other children sing “Everybody do this” and carry out the action on the card e.g. pretend to drink, clap, pretend to sleep, run round the table etc.
